Description
The dataset about the superfamily Coleorrhyncha kept in the entomological collection of the Department of Zoology, University of Silesia (DZUS) in Katowice. The data were developed as part of the Digital Entomological Database of Hemipteron (CEBD Hemipteron) project, which has been implemented since 2018 at the Faculty of Natural Sciences, University of Silesia in Katowice and co-financed by the European Union under the Regional Operational Program of the Silesian Voivodeship for the years 2014-2020. Project Data
Project number: RPSL.02.01.00-24-01DD/17-00. Project goal: The aim of the project is to digitize the entomological collection of Hemiptera insects, securing the collection in digital form. Project stages: (1) Preparation of individual collections for digitization; (2) Digitization of the entomological collection of Hemiptera insects; (3) Publication of the Hemipteron Digital Entomological Database. Planned effects: Thanks to the implementation of the project, it will be possible to create a multimedia catalogue of valuable specimens of bedbugs and to make natural heritage objects and scientific achievements available.
