Description
Observations of the cryptic fungi from the genus Hesperomyces parasitising ladybirds. Observations were made during the Visegrad workshop in České Budějovice (Czechia) at 19th of May 2025.

Sampling Methods
The study covered one field trip on 19.05.2025, during which participants of the workshop collected ladybirds in a city park in České Budějovice (Czechia). The next day, all laybirds were identified to species level and checked for the presence or absence of Hesperomyces. If fungus was present, thalli were counted. The morph and sex of each insect were also recorded.
