Description

Aureoboletus projectellus is an American bolete which was first reported in Europe at the end of the 20th century. At the beginning, it was only observed on the Baltic Sea shore. Recently, the range of this fungus has been expanding significantly. To predict the directions of its further dispersal, the current distribution of Aureoboletus projectellus in Europe is monitored by Department of Molecular Phylogenetics and Evolution (University of Warsaw, Poland). Several information on distribution of this species in Europe were gathered from different mycological forums and websites (e.g. bioforum.pl, senes.lv, schwammer.de), available published papers (e.g. Motiejūnaitė et al., 2011; Kutorga et al., 2012; Schreiner, 2015; Wrzosek et al., 2017) personal observations, and personal communications with mushroom hunters, national parks and foresters, amateur and professional mycologists. These data were used to prepare following paper: Banasiak et al. (2019). Related papers: 1) Banasiak Ł., Pietras M., Wrzosek M., Okrasińska A., Gorczak M., Kolanowska M., Pawłowska J. Data Records

The data in this occurrence resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 52 records.

This IPT archives the data and thus serves as the data repository. The data and resource metadata are available for download in the downloads section. The versions table lists other versions of the resource that have been made publicly available and allows tracking changes made to the resource over time.

Versions

The table below shows only published versions of the resource that are publicly accessible.
