The dataset consists of fungal specimens collected in the Mazurian Landscape Park (Poland) in October 2025. For most of the specimens ITS barcode was sequenced. Sampling, morphological and molecular identification and data preparation were performed by members of the Students Club of Biology of Microorganisms.

取樣方法
A group of participants was walking through the field collecting specimens. We assigned individual ID numbers to each specimen collected. All specimens were photographed in the field. The metadata (date, location, substrate, habitat) were collected using PlutoF Go application. Specimens were collected into baskets, wrapped in aluminium foil, or collected in plastic boxes with multiple compartments. Slimemoulds were collected in paper matchboxes.

Preliminary identifications were made in the field, while more detailed morphological examinations were later carried out in the laboratory. Whenever possible, taxonomic assignments were refined. |
