Description
The dataset presents a chapter of the Digital Catalogue of Biodiversity of Poland, comprising taxa of (infra)specific level, reported from Poland in the present administrative boundaries of the country. In this instance of the Catalogue, the list includes only taxa of confirmed occurrence, ignoring doubtful records that need verification as well as synonyms and other not valid names. The occurrence of each species is supported by a published reference.
Data Records
The data in this checklist resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 816 records.
This IPT archives the data and thus serves as the data repository. The data and resource metadata are available for download in the downloads section. The versions table lists other versions of the resource that have been made publicly available and allows tracking changes made to the resource over time.

Project Data
The Digital Catalogue of Biodiversity of Poland Project was supported by the Ministry of Education & Science as an extension of GBIF cooperation funds for 2017-2021. The scope covered all eukaryotic taxa of the country plus Cyanobacteria.
